About My Clients
Here's what I want you to know: You were born ready and able to be happy, and have a satisfying life. There are many reasons and causes for why life turns in a different direction. And there are many kinds of 'symptoms & behaviors’ we can experience when things go sideways. Together we can tap into your healing powers to support you to getting to a better place.
My Background and Approach
A special focus of my practice is Trauma of all kinds, using a non-pathologizing Somatic approaches which access our deep bodily wisdom to both understand and overcome Trauma. Because of this special focus, I work with a broad range of adults working through the varied ways we humans adapt and learn to cope with the impacts of unsupporting environments and relationship and life altering events and circumstances. Essentially, my approach is 'client-centered' rather than being modality rigid, and is categorized as eclectic, which combines a range of complimentary therapies. Having a large toolbox allows me to adapt and respond to a diverse range of people and specific needs, ensuring a better outcome for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Throughout my life, along with my broad training and experience as a therapist, I've experienced my own, and have guided others in finding their ability to overcome what's happening 'right now', no matter what happened 'back then’, and no matter what concerns there are about the future. And so I trust in this: Creating in your own expressive way a better life is what I know you are able—and meant—to do. Guiding and supporting you in experiencing this for yourself will be a heartfelt privilege for me.
