About My Clients

I work primarily with men, and with couples, on betrayal, addiction, out-of-control sexual behavior, anger, and trauma. Many men never had a real model for handling emotional life, so when something breaks — trust, a marriage, a habit — there's often nothing to fall back on but gritting through it. I also work across relationship structures, from monogamy to polyamory; you won't need to explain that first. If something's gotten louder than you can manage alone, I'd be glad to talk.

My Background and Approach

I'm an LMHC in New York and Massachusetts, with a Master's in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University, specializing in Gestalt and mindfulness-based approaches. I have further trauma and attachment training from the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute and am a Certified Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapist. I direct Embodied Mind NYC. My approach is integrative and body-aware: talk therapy alone often leaves people circling the same insight without much changing, so I track what's happening in the body — tension, breath, posture — alongside what's being said. With trauma, I build stabilization and safety before asking anyone to revisit difficult material. With men specifically, I don't ask for vulnerability on a schedule, and I don't treat struggling as failure. With couples and betrayal recovery, I don't assign blame — I help both people understand what made the breach possible and what needs to be true for trust to feel real again.
