I utilize a humanistic, collaborative and client-centered approach to support individuals with overcoming barriers that come between them and the life they want to live.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1998 with a Masters in Social Work in the clinical program. I have experience working with clients with many different challenges and I have worked in a variety of settings from state and federal agencies, prisons, and private agencies. Being a military veteran and retired federal law enforcement officer, I feel I have a good understanding of veterans and first responders’ challenges. I strive to create a non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I appreciate the complexity and uniqueness of everyone and believe that each individual is the expert of their own thoughts, feelings, experiences, and challenges.
