About My Clients
As we navigate transitions and answer our inner call for change, we often need additional support. Transitioning can include trauma, how you feel, how you think, and how you can heal from that. As a therapist, I want you to feel safe, secure, and then powerful. You can reclaim your life. My particular areas of work include shame, self-doubt, depression, anxiety, adjusting to life transitions, and adjusting to the effects of disabilities, as well as facilitating self-exploration.
My Background and Approach
I know how therapy can be; it can be hard, rough, crying, happiness, wisdom, and finding who you are with your body, mind, emotions, and spirit. Together we can find a path that feels healthy and healing. We will find those brick walls on that path and smash it with our hulk hands. I work with clients to develop their strengths into powerful tools. I provide individual therapy and counseling sessions to individuals aged 18 and older. I have a particular passion and expertise in grief/bereavement/loss, trauma, and with anxiety and depression disorders. I believe people can benefit from having support outside and in. Also, we can safely express strong emotions and receive additional guidance. My goal is to provide a warm, safe and positive atmosphere for my clients as they journey through stressful times of transition. Areas that bring people into my practice include relationship issues; anxiety and depression; healing from loss or trauma; building social skills and self-esteem.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe we can all find trust and support with each other. We have done this before, but now it's dwindling. If you're here, reading about me, that has to be part of trust with yourself.
