About My Clients
Are you a trans person tired of explaining gender identity? Or maybe someone who has started learning more about neurodivergence and want to find ways to manage your sensory needs? I like to work with people who are ready and willing to show up for themselves. My approach is relational, which mainly means that I don't want you to feel like you're talking to a brick wall or a parrot. Whatever your goals might be, I'm here to help.
My Background and Approach
I've worked in a variety of settings through my career, which has allowed me to help people with wide range of needs and diagnoses. Whether you're an individual looking to process and meet for talk therapy, or a couple wanting to build communication skills, or someone interested in trying Brainspotting, which a brain-body alternative therapy, let's work together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a social worker, I recognize just how detrimental the systems we live within are to our mental health. Things like racism, capitalism, ableism all take a physical toll on us. So how do we continue to live and push through? I think community and connecting to others is one of the biggest protective factors for mental health. I've got lived experience with panic disorder, neurodivergence, and disability. If we meet in person, I'll be wearing an N95 mask and using a HEPA air filter for the room.
