My guess is you hate the person in the mirror because they are so different from what you pictured for yourself by now. You don't know how anyone else could love you because you can't even stand yourself. Are you lost in life and searching for purpose but you are getting in your own way? You overthink everything and somehow you accomplish nothing. Life has got you overwhelmed, exhausted, unmotivated, hopeless and wondering why you even get out of bed in the morning.
My Background and Approach
Imagine one day you wake up motivated for your dream job, you actually smile back at the person in the mirror, you are surrounded by people who light your fire all day, and you get excited for the life you created after work. That's called self-worth. The first step is learning to love and take better care of yourself...it's time to put you first! I have the DBT and mindfulness skills that will help you love yourself, work well with others, handle your emotions, and attract the life you want. In office or online, we will discover ways to be comfortable being you and better able to navigate the world around you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
When you meet with me, you get the real Dana. What does that look like? That looks like someone in Disney bows and dresses. I am young at heart, but wise with experience, and I embrace all parts of me. I will most likely talk about how Disney, mindfulness, and kayaking heal my soul. I will sit through difficult moments with you, challenge you to be your best self, and celebrate the wins along with you. I will always tell it straight to you (sorry, no sugarcoating happening here), but I will never judge you. Why? Because we all have bumps and mistakes along our journey, that's part of the human experience. I work with the mind and body connection and incorporate a lot of mindfulness exercises to help you feel better emotionally and physically. When we take some time to listen to our bodies, we find the ability to better take care of ourselves and truly understand what we need. I believe in the importance of self-care and self-love which will ultimately attract the life you want.
