About My Clients
I work with adults facing burnout, chronic illness, trauma, anxiety, and life transitions. Many of my clients are high-achieving professionals, caregivers, multicultural individuals, or those managing complex medical and emotional challenges. They’re seeking a compassionate, integrative approach that combines thoughtful medication management with lifestyle and mind-body strategies to feel more balanced, connected, and empowered in their mental health journey.
My Background and Approach
With dual board certification in family practice and psychiatry, I bring a holistic, integrative lens to mental health care. My background includes urgent care, primary care, and hospital-based consult-liaison psychiatry, which shaped my understanding of how deeply mental and physical health are connected. I specialize in treating adults navigating burnout, chronic illness, trauma, and identity-related stressors. My approach blends evidence-based psychiatric care with functional medicine principles, mindfulness, and lifestyle interventions. I prioritize creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we can explore the root causes of distress—not just manage symptoms. I believe healing happens when we treat the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—and I work collaboratively with each client to build a treatment plan that aligns with their goals, values, and lived experience. I do this through thoughtful medication management, therapeutic support, and integrative methods.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe mental health care should be compassionate, inclusive, and accessible to all—especially those who’ve been marginalized, stigmatized, or unheard. I advocate for equality, women’s rights, and care that honors the experiences of veterans, caregivers, and adults living with invisible or chronic illnesses who are often dismissed or disbelieved. I spent my childhood volunteering in South India and continue to serve my local community through a food pantry. These experiences shaped my commitment to serving those facing systemic barriers with dignity and respect. I am especially drawn to working with people navigating complex identities, medical trauma, or culturally nuanced challenges. My practice is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves to be seen, supported, and empowered to heal—no matter their background or story.
