About My Clients
My work includes helping high-achieving professionals recover from burnout, navigate career stress, and rebuild a sense of purpose. I also support individuals and couples healing from trauma, anxiety, and depression with EMDR and somatic approaches that help your nervous system feel safe enough to heal. Not sure what's wrong? That's okay. If you're just feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, we can start there. I welcome clients of all identities, backgrounds, and relationship structures.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Design Communication from the University of Minnesota. Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than 20 years as a marketing executive collaborating with Fortune 100 companies. Witnessing the toll of high-pressure careers inspired me to earn my master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Touro University. I'm a Somatic EMDR practitioner with certifications in Domestic Violence Counseling and Polyvagal Theory. My work with adults, adolescents, couples, and families has spanned community organizations to private practice. My approach is holistic and client-centered, specializing in anxiety, career stress, and trauma, often in combination. I use CBT and mindfulness for anxiety, strengths-based approaches for burnout, and EMDR, IFS, and somatic interventions for trauma and PTSD. Every session is collaborative and designed to help you heal, grow, and reconnect with possibility.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Clients often describe me as grounded, gentle, and authentic. I bring warmth, honesty, and transparency into our work, striking a balance between encouragement and gentle challenge. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, respected, and empowered to explore your truth at your own pace. Therapy isn't about fixing what's "wrong" with you. It's an opportunity to cultivate curiosity, courage, and compassion as you understand your patterns, process past experiences, and unlock your strengths. I'm here to help you see new possibilities, reclaim confidence, and create relationships that feel balanced and real. Celebrating your growth, facing obstacles together, and walking alongside you in this process is at the heart of why I became a therapist.
