My Background and Approach
I utilize a multi-dimensional approach with the goal of enhancing our client’s ability to achieve stability and growth in all areas of their lives. I am a great believer that laughter is medicine and therapeutic. I present a 12-step focused foundation providing psycho-education, problem identification and behavior modification, exploration of family of origin issues and historical trauma, affirmative self-imaging and long-term goal identification. One of my greatest strengths is my compassion and understanding for my clients.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe change, although difficult, is a part of life and can be transformational. I am a strong believer in attachment theory. I believe many of our adult interpersonal issues can be traced back to our childhood and how we attached to our caregivers.
