About My Clients
I work with three kinds of people who share the same pattern: high-functioning men who've learned to override what their bodies are telling them, athletes whose performance has hit a ceiling willpower alone can't move, and people whose nervous systems are still bracing from something even after years of talking about it. My Background and Approach
My approach differs from traditional talk therapy because the problem usually isn't a lack of insight. You already know what happened. What's missing is a way to help your nervous system actually process it, not just understand it intellectually. I'm a Brainspotting Consultant, currently in training to become a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, with advanced training in Polyvagal Theory. These body-based approaches work with your nervous system directly, often reaching what years of talking couldn't. Before this work, I spent a decade in Fortune 5 corporate leadership and competed and coached at a high level in athletics. I understand performance pressure and burnout from the inside, not just from a textbook. I hold an MBA and MA alongside my clinical license (LPCC), which shapes how I think about sustainable change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe your body has been trying to tell you something for a long time, and it deserves to be heard rather than managed. Struggle isn't a character flaw or a lack of willpower. It's often a nervous system doing exactly what it was built to do in response to what it's been through. I don't believe healing means becoming a different person. It means becoming more fully yourself, with a nervous system that finally feels safe enough to let that happen. I bring that same respect to every client, whether you're a high achiever who's never had space to fall apart, an athlete chasing a level your body hasn't reached yet, or someone who's done years of work and still feels stuck. My role isn't to fix you. It's to help your body find its way back to a state where healing is possible.
