About My Clients
I work with men whose sexual behavior or porn use is pulling them away from the life they want. Many are high-functioning on the outside and quietly stuck on the inside. Some have tried to stop on willpower, some have done years of therapy, and some have never told anyone. Underneath, there's often trauma, burnout, or chronic stress. If the pattern keeps returning no matter how much you understand it, you're in the right place.
My Background and Approach
Out of control sexual behavior usually isn't a lack of insight or willpower. You may already know why you do it. What's missing is a way to help your nervous system process what's driving it, not just understand it. I work from the Out of Control Sexual Behavior model, which starts with your own values rather than an addiction label. I'm a Certified Brainspotting Therapist and Consultant, in advanced-year Somatic Experiencing training, with advanced training in Polyvagal Theory. These body-based approaches reach below willpower, where these patterns are actually held, and they address the trauma and chronic stress that often sit underneath. Before this work, I spent a decade in Fortune 5 corporate leadership. I understand performance pressure and burnout from the inside. I hold an MBA and MA alongside my clinical license (LPCC). Weekly sessions and intensives are available.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe your body has been trying to tell you something for a long time, and it deserves to be heard rather than managed. Struggle isn't a character flaw or a lack of willpower. It's often a nervous system doing exactly what it was built to do in response to what it's been through. I'm also sex-positive. Your sexuality isn't the problem, and you won't be judged here. I don't believe healing means becoming a different person. It means becoming more fully yourself, with a nervous system that finally feels safe enough to let that happen. I bring that same respect to every client, whether you're a high achiever who's never had space to fall apart, someone whose sexual behavior has gotten ahead of your values, or someone who's done years of work and still feels stuck. My role isn't to fix you. It's to help your body find its way back to a state where healing is possible.
