About My Clients
I work with folks 18+ who are struggling with issues around depression, anxiety, and life transitions, including the transitions and challenges related to the global pandemic. Many of the individuals I’ve worked with in the past considered themselves geeky. I also enjoy working with individuals who are exploring issues pertaining to non-monogamy or polyamorous relationships. I see clients online in WA (Cigna, United, Atena, and Premera) as well as in person in PA (UPMC, United, Highmark).
My Background and Approach
I practice from an eclectic approach when it comes to therapy. I often will utilize Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to help clients identify patterns of thinking and behavior that may cause them distress and work on exploring new skills and perspectives. Previous to outpatient therapy, I have worked extensively in crisis outreach roles, emergency departments, and partial hospitalization programs.
