About My Clients
I specialize in working with neurodivergent individuals and adopt a trauma informed approach. I welcome a diverse range of individuals 16 years old for individual treatment and up along with couples for relationship counseling. I provide virtual sessions for clients in MD, PA, and VA along with limited in person sessions in MD.
My Background and Approach
I utilize an integrative, trauma informed, neurodiversity affirming, and LGBTQ affirming approach to help my clients tell their stories, assisting them to address difficulties that have been holding them back from living more meaningful and fulfilling lives. My approach also includes elements of attachment, mindfulness, and sensorimotor techniques.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a clinician, I believe that you must honor the unique story and needs of the individual sitting across from you. My approach prioritizes collaboration with clients to create a therapeutic space that is tailored to their unique needs and honors their worldview. I believe that healing needs to occur in a setting which is nonjudgmental and supportive while providing warmth and hope, allowing clients to grow and thrive.
