About My Clients
I have experience in helping clients deal with a wide variety of issues including depression, anxiety, panic, trauma and its related symptoms, grief and loss, self-esteem, motivation, life transitions, interpersonal issues, substance use issues, stress and anger management, emotional regulation and somatic symptoms, among others.
My Background and Approach
I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strengths-Based, Gestalt, Motivational Interviewing, Somatic modalities and Expressive Arts to deliver treatment that is grounded in Mindfulness practices and a Person-Centered approach, which emphasizes authenticity and non-judgemental empathetic listening.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in a holistic approach to healing, recognizing the importance of mind-body connection and the effects that lifestyle, culture and environment have upon each individual.
