About My Clients
My clients are eager to develop their already existing strengths to create the life and relationships they most want, while maintaining a sense of humor along the way. I work with clients from all walks of life and welcome those in open, poly, and queer relationships. I love working with people who are radically transparent and not afraid to be vulnerable when it comes to sharing feedback with me so we can build the optimal relationship for growth.
My Background and Approach
Due to my background in dating coaching, I use a strength-based and solution-focused approach. Yes, past experience and how we got here and what makes us tick is extremely important; so is our resilience, what we're doing right, and how we want to take our experiences to move forward. I very much believe in using the therapeutic relationship itself to learn about interpersonal relationships and how to improve them. I believe in maintaining a sense of humor with each other and being open to feedback and radical transparency. I give homework if it is helpful to the client, and we talk about whether it is or not. I support my clients in what THEY want, not what I want for them.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It is my belief that we stand to learn and gain more from recognizing and celebrating our strengths and what IS working, rather than getting caught up in the problem story. WIthout a doubt, the past is real and affects us today. I believe in processing and moving past that to create the present and the future we want and are fully capable of creating with humor, boldness, creativity, and real life experiments that bring our work into the world.
