About My Clients
Having a therapist that you vibe with is critical to your therapy success. My clients think it's essential to work with someone who is authentic and willing to experience their emotional journey WITH them. The relationship between a client and their therapist is certainly a unique one. We might cry together, rage together… we will definitely laugh together. I will join you in your fear, frustration, and joy and relief.
My Background and Approach
I have a Bachelor’s and Masters’s Degree in Social Work. My studies and work have been in mental health with expertise in treating trauma-related issues, and all things having to do with anxiety such as stress, overwhelm, perfectionism, and burnout. My treatment method: Get in – Get out – Get on with life for good.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
If you imagine a therapist, you probably picture someone in a cardigan and glasses, pen and notebook in hand, and a flat -emotionless- face. And while I do were glasses and am partial to a cozy cardi (I LOVE sweater weather), I’m no longer that stuffy stereotypical therapist.I ’m not that stereotypical stuffy therapist. We might cry together, or rage together... we will definitely laugh together. I will join you in your fear or frustration, and your joy and relief. I prioritize partnering with you and supporting you in intentionally “living out” your values that support your higher purpose. I can’t think of a more powerful way to double down on ourselves than getting clear on our values and the behaviors that support them—and the crap that gets in the way.
