About My Clients
Some days you may feel like you are managing, while other days it feels harder to stay grounded. You may feel overwhelmed, stuck in your thoughts, unsure of yourself, or tired of repeating the same patterns. If you are looking for a space where you can be honest about what you are carrying and begin making sense of it, you are welcome here. Together, we can work toward feeling more steady, connected, and at home within yourself.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Saint Joseph. My clinical experience has shaped the way I understand how past experiences, present patterns, relationships, and self perception can all be connected. This allows our work to go beyond what is happening on the surface and make space for deeper understanding, practical tools, and meaningful change. As an EMDR-trained clinician, I support clients in processing painful experiences in a way that feels steady and intentional, helping reduce the emotional weight of what they have been carrying and move forward with more clarity. Rather than taking a one size fits all approach, I pay attention to what you need in the moment and what may support longer term growth. My goal is for our work to feel thoughtful, useful, and connected to the changes you are hoping to make.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Therapy should be a space where you can show up fully, without feeling like you have to shrink parts of yourself to be understood. I value honesty, cultural humility, and being seen in the full context of your life, not only through what feels difficult right now. As a BIPOC in this field, I understand how meaningful it can be to sit with someone who respects the impact of identity, family, culture, and lived experience. I care deeply about creating a space that feels safe and affirming, but also real. My work is rooted in the belief that healing does not have to look one specific way. It can hold softness and accountability, grief and laughter, reflection and the process of learning how to trust yourself again.
