About My Clients

Many of the individuals I work with are used to holding everything together for everyone else while silently struggling with anxiety, burnout, trauma, overwhelm, or emotional exhaustion. I work with adolescents and adults navigating life transitions, postpartum challenges, stress, relationship difficulties, and unresolved experiences from the past. Therapy provides a space to slow down, process what you’ve been carrying, and move forward with greater clarity, balance, and support.

My Background and Approach

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, collaborative, and focused on creating meaningful, practical change. I strive to provide a supportive and direct space where clients feel comfortable being honest about what they are experiencing without fear of judgment. Together, we work to better understand patterns, process difficult experiences, improve emotional awareness, and develop practical tools that can be applied to everyday life. Throughout my career, I have worked with adolescents and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, burnout, major life transitions, and severe mental health concerns. My professional experience across behavioral health and community-based settings has allowed me to support individuals from diverse backgrounds with a wide range of emotional and behavioral needs. My goal is to help clients feel more grounded, emotionally aware, empowered, and equipped to move forward with clarity and confidence.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe healing begins with having a space where people feel safe enough to be honest about what they are carrying. I value authenticity, emotional growth, accountability, and creating supportive environments where individuals feel seen, heard, and understood without judgment. As a Black woman and mother, I understand the pressure that can come with constantly showing up for others while trying to manage your own emotional needs behind the scenes. Those experiences continue to shape the empathy, balance, and perspective I bring into my work with clients. Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, creating meaningful resources, and pouring into the personal and professional goals that matter most to me.
