With over 20 years of experience in the fields of special education and psychology, I specialize in supporting adults through cultural struggles, trauma, and spiritual wounds. My training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), an evidence-based approach, allows me to help clients achieve rapid and lasting healing. I offer a culturally sensitive, compassionate approach tailored to each individual’s needs. My therapeutic style is trauma-informed and client-centered, integrating various modalities to help you find balance and healing. I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to assist with emotional regulation, mindfulness-based techniques for stress reduction, and faith-based counseling for Christian clients who wish to incorporate their spiritual beliefs into therapy. Each approach is uniquely personalized to help you navigate grief, trauma, cultural challenges, and inner conflicts, fostering growth and healing in a supportive and understanding environment.

I believe that mental health struggles are uniquely experienced within first and second-generation Americans, as well as among BIPOC and other minority populations. As someone who has personally navigated grief, cultural identity struggles, and neurodivergence, I understand how these experiences can shape one's mental health in profound ways. The challenges of balancing multiple cultural identities, while facing systemic barriers, create distinct emotional and psychological burdens. My life has taught me that healing is not just about addressing trauma but also about embracing the beauty of our unique identities and experiences. Through my own journey, I’ve cultivated a personal relationship with God, which has deepened my belief that we are all created in His likeness and image, deserving of grace, understanding, and compassion. I am committed to helping clients heal from cultural struggles, trauma, and spiritual wounds, integrating a faith-based approach that honors their experience.
