My Background and Approach
I am a licensed mental health professional with specialized training and experience in conducting psychological evaluations for immigration cases, including asylum, VAWA, U visa, T visa, and hardship waivers. My background in trauma-informed care allows me to approach each evaluation with sensitivity, respect, and professionalism. Over the years, I have worked with diverse individuals from various cultural and linguistic backgrounds, helping them express their experiences in a way that supports their legal process. My evaluations are thorough, detailed, and tailored to meet both clinical and immigration standards helping attorneys and immigration judges gain a clear understanding of each client’s psychological and emotional experiences.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Born and raised in Mexico, I moved to Texas with my family and have called it home ever since. I am a passionate advocate for mental health, especially within underserved communities, and I am committed to expanding awareness through psychoeducation. Through my practice, I have had the honor of working with individuals of all ages, as well as couples and families. Every individual possesses the strength to overcome life’s difficulties, and I am here to facilitate a non-judgmental space for you.
