About My Clients
I work with individuals, couples, children, and their families who are struggling with transitional life changes, anxiety, depression, anger, self-esteem, relationship issues, parenting, and trauma.
My Background and Approach
I use various approaches, including Child-Centered play therapy, Child-Parent Psychotherapy, Art Therapy, Family Therapy models, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and other targeted interventions and strategies.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone should have access to mental Health services. I also believe that there is no “one size fit all” type of therapy and that is why I tailor my approaches based on my client’s need. I don't believe that there is a limit to human capacity. I think the main reason we develop mental health issues is because they are unhealthy learned behaviors that we have picked up along the way. Which means that I think you can unlearn the faulty behaviors and replace them with healthy ones. I was born in Haiti and moved to the U.S when I was 12 years old, so I have a clear understanding of the struggles of transition and adaptation.
