About My Clients
As a therapist, my primary goal is to provide a compassionate and supportive space for individuals navigating life's challenges. I am deeply committed to ensuring that my clients have a safe and nonjudgmental environment where they can express themselves freely, regardless of their struggles. Meeting new people and offering a haven where they feel understood and accepted is a fundamental part of my practice.
My Background and Approach
My approach is rooted in authenticity, calm conversations, and genuine collaboration. I believe in working alongside my clients, meeting them where they are, and walking with them on their journey. I do not position myself as an authority figure who dictates solutions but as a supportive ally who empowers clients to find their own paths. Being part of my clients' team, providing guidance, and witnessing their growth is a privilege I hold dearly.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone can change and grow at any time in their lives. I don't believe that there is a limit to human capacity. I think the main reason we develop mental health issues is because they are unhealthy learned behaviors that we have picked up along the way. Which means that I think you can unlearn these behaviors and replace them with healthy ones. I suffer from anxiety and depression. Through my own therapy, I learned how to handle my anxiety and move past it so that it does not have control over me. I believe that Harry Potter, The Hobbit, and LOTR are the best movies out there, but I will not judge you if you're not aware of that fact :) I do not discriminate against anyone. I believe everyone has the right to live their best lives, whatever that looks like to them! I make it a point to participate in marches and community actions that support the LGBTQ community, as well as woman's rights.
