About My Clients
My clients are invested and excited to deepen their self-awareness to help them thrive and create a life that is fuller and more meaningful to them. Whether it is a journey of exploring aspects of your identity as an adolescent or young adult, navigating changes and transitions, or fostering reciprocal and satisfying relationships with others, I would be honored to support you during this growth.
My Background and Approach
I have worked with children and adolescents for over 20 years; I enjoy their candor, energy, and curiosity. My work with children and adolescents has taken place across a variety of settings, including youth treatment centers, community health centers, hospitals, and college counseling centers. Whether they are looking for more adaptive coping strategies, exploring their perspectives and identities, or wanting to improve the relationships in their lives, I would be honored to work alongside them in that journey. I also very much enjoy working with adults who are seeking more fulfillment and connection in their lives. I have worked with individuals, parents, and couples who are navigating transitions or exploring the next steps in their lives/relationships. Adults are also continuously evolving their own perspectives and identities, and these changes can be both enlightening and difficult at the same time.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a founding member of the Psychologists for Racial Justice, I strongly believe in social justice and avidly work towards bringing awareness and action towards these goals in my personal and professional lives. As Maya Angelou stated so succintly, "no one of us can be free until everybody is free."
