About My Clients
Do you find yourself holding responsibilities, expectations, or emotions that feel bigger than just your own life? Maybe you’ve spent so long being strong for others that you’re not sure how to center yourself anymore. You might struggle with people-pleasing, self-doubt, or an inner critic that won’t quiet. Family dynamics, cultural expectations, or past experiences may leave you feeling overwhelmed or disconnected. If this sounds familiar, I invite you to reach out.
My Background and Approach
Drawing from both evidence-based and experiential models, I help clients identify and shift self-limiting beliefs, deepen emotional awareness, and strengthen connection. Our work often also will include reflecting on personal values and using somatic techniques that foster grounding and wholeness in your body. In sessions, we explore the beliefs that fuel anxiety and self-criticism while also building awareness of emotions and bodily experience. Together, we look at patterns of disconnection and how they may have developed, creating space for more clarity, self-trust, and change. Starting or returning to therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you’re used to putting others first or pushing through on your own. You don’t have to have everything figured out before reaching out.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Prior to this work, I supported individuals in the foster care system and those affected by HIV. This experience strengthened my trauma-informed, client-centered approach and helped me understand how systemic stressors, stigma, and complex life transitions can impact mental health. I bring these insights to all my clients, helping them navigate challenges with empathy, practical strategies, and personalized support.
