About My Clients
I work with children ages 6 and up, adolescents, and adults who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply ready for something to change. I support clients navigating neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, life transitions, emotional regulation, and everyday stressors. No matter where you are in your journey, my goal is to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and comfortable being yourself.
My Background and Approach
With over six years of experience, my background includes school counseling, crisis management, agency-based therapy, private practice, and clinical supervision. I’ve had the opportunity to work with clients across different ages and with a wide range of mental health concerns, which has helped me develop a flexible and well-rounded approach to therapy. My approach is primarily grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy. I believe therapy starts with genuine connection, trust, and collaboration. I meet clients where they are and tailor our work to their individual needs, strengths, and goals. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and comfortable being yourself while working toward meaningful change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every person deserves to feel respected, heard, and accepted for who they are. My faith and spirituality are meaningful parts of my life, and I’m happy to incorporate faith-based counseling when it aligns with a client’s beliefs and goals. At the same time, I welcome people of all backgrounds, beliefs, and perspectives and will never impose my own beliefs in therapy. I value compassion, diversity, and meeting people where they are. Giving back is also important to me, and I enjoy volunteering through my church, including serving in children’s ministry and helping provide meals to families staying at a local women’s shelter.
