About My Clients
My clients are a fun mix of introverted extroverts when the right topic comes up! They enjoy exploring the WHY and foundation of their emotions, behaviors and influences. My clients love they can be themselves, as i carry a come as you are, relaxed approach . My clients come from all walks of life, different backgrounds, ages and experiences who are ready to tailor their life to create a quality life worth living. My Background and Approach
Light hearted, challenging , passionate, supportive and safe is how id like to describe my approach with my clients in session. I am a straight forward therapist, while still respecting and being mindful of where my client is at in the present moment. I focus on understanding your culture, beliefs, customs, and values. I am passionate about creating a safe therapeutic space to facilitate insight and understanding while laying the groundwork for hope and healing. I specialize in working with and treating adults and adolescents who suffer from depression, mood dysregulation, anxiety, trauma, behavioral issues, and a variety of life stressors (just to name a few, id like to think we can work on it all together with the right therapeutic connection!). Some interventions include: Dialectical Behavioral Therapy,Expressive Art Therapy, Dyadic Treatment and Behavioral Therapy, Narrative therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavior therapy (CBT).
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that prevention and early intervention is essential when facing adverse childhood . I believe understanding the WHY and foundation of emotions and behaviors is directly related to seeing change and progress. In my work, I believe that creating a safe environment for my clients will help them overcome their challenges. I also specialize in working with and treating adults that are experiencing depression, anxiety, triggers, and/ or disturbing thoughts related to past or current traumas. I assist individuals in strengthening self-confidence, day to day life stressors and improving interpersonal relationships .
