About My Clients
Every person is an individual. All clients deserve mental health care tailored to the individual that is seeking care. My goal for every client is to improve their mood and overall health by providing compassionate mental health care.
My Background and Approach
Dr. Hopkins’ professional interests include treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and psychotic disorders in adults. She has an extensive history of treating substance use disorders and post-traumatic stress disorder. Dr. Hopkins has over 17 years of experience in a myriad of settings to include inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care, emergency department, substances use disorders, post traumatic stress disorder, women's health, geriatrics, pediatrics, and primary care.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Dr. Hopkins loves working with clients, their families, and other mental health providers to improve the mental health and outcomes of her clients. She often uses cognitive behavioral therapy and supportive therapy techniques when evaluating and treating mental health issues. All clients are evaluated holistically in order to provide well-rounded care.
