About My Clients
Life can feel overwhelming at times—especially when stress, anxiety, depression, or past experiences begin to interfere with your daily life or relationships. You don’t have to navigate these challenges alone. I provide a supportive, compassionate space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with over 21 years of experience supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges. I work with adults and specialize in treating anxiety, depression, anger management, and stress management. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based. My therapeutic approach is client-centered and strengths-based, grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens through collaboration, respect, and trust. I incorporate evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strengths-Based Therapy, Problem-Solving Therapy (PST), and Psychodynamic Therapy, tailoring treatment to meet your unique needs and goals. Together, we will build on your strengths, develop practical coping strategies, and work toward lasting growth and healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other in a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment. We will discuss what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, and any goals you would like to work toward. I will also take time to understand your background, strengths, and what has or has not been helpful for you in the past. There is no pressure to share more than you are comfortable with. My role is to meet you where you are, answer any questions you may have about the therapy process, and collaborate with you on next steps. Together, we will begin developing a plan that feels manageable, supportive, and aligned with your needs and values. My goal is to help you feel supported, empowered, and hopeful as you move toward greater balance, clarity, and overall well-being.
