About My Clients
I work with adults navigating grief, caregiving, relationship changes, and life transitions. Many of my clients are military-connected or caregivers who feel overwhelmed, lonely, or unsure how to move forward. As a military spouse, I understand the toll of constant change and loss. Together, we build clarity, self-compassion, and connection—helping you rediscover meaning, balance, and strength in your story.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Grief Recovery Specialist with over a decade of experience helping individuals, families, and military-connected communities heal through life’s challenges. My background in gerontology and trauma-informed care allows me to support clients navigating grief, caregiving, anxiety, and major life transitions. As a military spouse, I understand the impact of uncertainty, relocation, and loss of connection. I use evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, CBT, and the Grief Recovery Method to help clients process emotions, strengthen coping skills, and rediscover meaning. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to move forward with renewed clarity and confidence. Whether you’re managing everyday stress or deep loss, I’ll walk beside you as you build resilience and reconnect with what matters most.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As both a therapist and a military spouse, I believe in the power of connection, community, and purpose. I founded Strength in Service, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting military families through mental health advocacy, social health, and professional growth. My values are rooted in compassion, inclusion, and service—I strive to create a safe, affirming space where every client feels seen and valued. I’m deeply committed to suicide prevention, caregiver support, and promoting social health as a foundation for well-being. I believe healing happens when we feel we belong, and my work reflects that belief—helping individuals and families rediscover hope, purpose, and strength through connection.
