About My Clients
You're a mother who is doing "everything right" but feels like she's disappearing. From the outside, you've got it together. Internally, you're carrying a persistent hum of anxiety, the explosive guilt of "mom rage," and grief for the person you were before parenthood. You're close to a breaking point, and you know this isn't sustainable. I'm here to help.
My Background and Approach
My approach is rooted in the belief that your "symptoms"—the rage, the numbness, the anxiety—actually make a lot of sense given the pressure you're under. I specialize in the intersection of Perinatal and Perimenopausal Mental Health, Trauma, and Sexual Wellness, including ethically and consensually non-monogamous relationships. We go beyond standard talk therapy by working with two pillars: your nervous system, using Brainspotting and somatic tools, and the stories you've internalized about yourself over time—often long before parenthood or midlife ever entered the picture. I hold certifications in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) and Brainspotting, and I work with individuals and couples through both weekly sessions and multi-day intensives.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe a healthy mother is more important than a "perfect" one. I'm deeply committed to a trauma-informed, sex-positive, shame-resilient lens of therapy. I have a particular heart for those navigating religious deconstruction alongside parenthood—processing the guilt and shame of purity culture or a rigid upbringing while trying to raise their own kids with more freedom. Reclaiming your sexual wellness and pleasure is a vital part of maternal health, not an afterthought. When I'm not in the therapy room, I'm navigating the same parenting rhythms as you—work, kids' schedules, finding quiet moments in the chaos. I'm a human first and a therapist second, and I show up with warmth, humor, and zero judgment.
