About My Clients
We all come to therapy in our own way. It might be a specific issue or difficult moment that brings you in. But just as often it can be a feeling of emptiness, of anguish or of dissatisfaction with yourself and the world around you. I work with people struggling with anxiety/depression, relationships, life transitions, and grief and trauma. I offer an integrative approach that employs (among many things) reflection, insight and connecting to feelings to create awareness and acceptance of self.
My Background and Approach
In my practice I strive to create a space for you to listen to your thoughts, connect to your feelings, know your needs, and discover your wants; to engage the many parts of self that make up the fabric of who you are. As each journey is unique, how we work together is a shared construction, evolving over time. Together we’ll explore patterns of relating that have been with you from your beginning, examine how they have informed and impacted your present, and ask if they still make sense for your future.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My practice is inclusive and welcoming. I strive to open up a deep and lasting curiosity in my clients about themselves, their stories and their world. My work is to nurture those qualities that enliven and inform your spontaneous creative self, and that allows the truth of who you are to breathe, so that you can engage fully and freely in a life of meaning and purpose.
