About My Clients
I work with teens, young adults, and adults who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, stress, or major life changes. Many clients come to therapy when school, work, relationships, or family pressures start to feel difficult to manage. Others may feel stuck in patterns that no longer work for them. I aim to provide a supportive and non-judgmental space where clients feel comfortable exploring challenges and developing practical tools to move forward.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Clinical Director of Counseling For You, a group practice serving Long Island and New York City. I work collaboratively with clients to better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behavioral patterns while developing healthier coping strategies. My approach is integrative and draws from evidence-based treatments including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based strategies, and solution-focused therapy. Treatment is always tailored to each individual and focused on practical skills that clients can use in daily life. Our practice includes a team of clinicians with a wide range of specialties, allowing us to match clients with the therapist who best fits their needs. We offer in-person sessions at our Long Island offices and secure telehealth throughout New York.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when people feel safe, respected, and understood. My goal is to create a space where clients feel comfortable speaking openly about their experiences without fear of judgment. I believe meaningful change comes from a strong therapeutic relationship combined with practical tools and insight. Outside of clinical work, I care deeply about improving access to mental health services and supporting the well-being of our local community.
