About My Clients
Looking for support and ways to increase your motivation and capacity for healing? With somatic-body based therapy you can experience a meaningful shift in how you experience yourself. My clients want a scientific approach that feels safe, supportive and respectful of their lived experiences. We work towards identity development and creatively explore areas for growth and healing of traumatic experiences.
My Background and Approach
For the past two decades, I have supported community mental health through meditation, mindfulness, and trauma-informed yoga classes. These modes of healing are finally being incorporated into Western psychology. Somatic approaches offer an easier way to reduce uncomfortable symptoms, improve embodiment of emotions and therefore cognition and self awareness. I am passionate about supporting and connecting with those who have experienced marginalization due to identity. When we bring curiosity and an open mind, rigid belief systems shift and new perspectives can emerge. Research continues to inform best practice. I believe in staying active in continuing ed. and assist at SEI beg/intermed trainings.

I believe that it is within relationship that we have the greatest potential to heal. I will meet you with presence, respect and care.
