My Background and Approach
I am a bi-racial San Francisco native, appreciative of the multicultural spirit of the city. I attended college in Los Angeles, graduate school in Portland, Oregon, and then I moved to New Zealand and worked as a therapist before returning to San Francisco. I provide services on the foundation that people deserve to feel a sense of control and confidence to find peace through adversity. I use an integrative approach, which means that I incorporate several different models of therapy based on the presenting problem and your individual needs. The therapies I draw primarily from include: Cognitive therapies, Narrative therapy, Psychodynamic, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Structural family therapy.
