About My Clients
Neurofeedback is a gentle, non‑invasive therapy that trains your brain to function more smoothly. Sensors measure brainwave activity, and real‑time feedback helps the brain learn healthier patterns. Over time, this “brain training” can reduce symptoms like anxiety, insomnia, or ADHD by improving balance and connectivity.
My Background and Approach
I worked as a pharmacist for 20 years in both hospital and retail settings. A few years into my career, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. At the time, traditional medicine offered limited options, and my pharmacy background provided little guidance for navigating the challenges ahead. This led me to explore the scientific literature for alternatives, where I discovered credible complementary therapies that became essential to my own health and wellness. I began integrating these approaches into my pharmacy practice, counseling clients on ways to live healthier lives and, when appropriate, using evidence-based strategies to reduce or even eliminate the need for medication—always under the supervision of a physician. My pursuit of knowledge about lifestyle and wellness deepened, and I came to fully appreciate the profound role of the mind–body connection in disease and overall quality of life. This realization inspired me to pursue a master’s degree in counseling.
