About My Clients
I support individuals and couples ready for deep, transformative work. Whether you're navigating the complexities of childhood abuse, relationship patterns, or traumatic brain injury (TBI), immense change is possible. I provide a sacred space for healing via online counseling in Washington State or in-person therapy at my offices in Bainbridge Island and Marysville. Afternoon and evening sessions (Tuesday–Friday) provide the flexibility needed to prioritize your healing.
My Background and Approach
Each life is a story, and our stories are shaped in relationship. The places where we feel stuck, repeat painful patterns, or struggle in relationships often trace back to formative experiences, trauma, and attachment wounds. In a warm, conversational, and relational style, I invite you to gently explore those places. As a trauma therapist, I draw from Narrative Focused Trauma Care, integrating attachment theory, relational therapy, and StoryWork. Together, we tend the soil of your story so healing and integration can take root. Trauma recovery happens within safe relationships, and I am committed to my own ongoing personal work so I can accompany clients with depth, integrity, and compassion.Whether walking through the "earth" of childhood trauma or relational conflict, or traumatic brain injury we will work at a pace that honors your story.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Outside of the office, I revel and find restoration in the wild beauty of the ocean and Pacific Northwest; its ocean, forests, and quiet trails remind me of resilience and renewal. I love to smith words with my pen, savor good food, and snuggle two lucky felines. My love for travel and adventure keeps me grounded and curious about the world—a perspective I bring into every session. The rhythms of beauty, creativity, and connection ground my work as a therapist and deepen my belief in healing, growth, and the redemptive power of story.
