About My Clients
I specialize in working with children, teens, and families, including families involved in child welfare, couples building a new foundation together, and parents facing today's daily stressors. I have worked with trauma, domestic violence, human trafficking survivors, the LGBTQIA+ community, and individuals with developmental disabilities, helping clients build coping, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
My Background and Approach
I am a Florida Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a BA in Psychology from Binghamton University and an MS in Child, Family, and Consumer Sciences from Florida State University. Attending a performing arts high school in New York City shaped my unique therapeutic approach: by providing therapy through visual cues and various therapeutic methods and modalities, individuals can learn new coping, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. My scope of practice includes marriage and family counseling, domestic violence and batterer's intervention, child welfare, child-parent psychotherapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, parenting, anger management, child development, and individual and group counseling. Modalities I use include Cognitive Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative, Structural, Strategic, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I invite you to take a personal therapeutic journey with me.
