About My Clients

I work with couples who feel more like roommates than lovers. If the spark faded between kids, exhaustion, and the mental load, I help you find your way back. You aren't broken; your relationship just adapted to survive. I also provide specialized, affirming care for those navigating Kink/BDSM, Ethical Non-Monogamy, and LGBTQIA+ dynamics. Whether you are facing desire discrepancies or communication breakdowns, I help you move past surface-level fixes to rebuild real, lasting intimacy.

My Background and Approach

As a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I view your relationship through a systemic lens. We don't just look at the "problem" in isolation; we explore the dynamic loops and patterns that keep you stuck. My clinical approach integrates Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Narrative Therapy to help you rewrite the stories you carry about sex and connection. We move beyond "spicing things up" with quick fixes to understand the deep emotional roots of your disconnection. I believe therapy requires a balance of depth and levity. Sex can be vulnerable, awkward, and even funny, and our sessions will hold space for all of it. I am not here to just nod and listen; I will actively challenge you to break the destructive communication cycles that kill desire. Whether we are addressing sexual dysfunction, navigating Kink/BDSM dynamics, or rebuilding after a major life transition, my goal is to help you create a relationship that feels authentic to your current reality.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that your sex life didn't just "disappear"—it shifted to help you survive. When life gets heavy with parenting, career changes, or loss, intimacy is often the first thing to go. That doesn't mean you are broken or that your relationship is doomed. I believe that intimacy is a vital, evolving part of a healthy relationship, not a static performance we measure against who you were ten years ago. I am deeply committed to providing a judgment-free space for all expressions of love and desire. If you practice Kink, Ethical Non-Monogamy, or identify as LGBTQIA+, you deserve a therapist who validates your reality rather than pathologizing your pleasure. I believe that the way you communicate outside the bedroom sets the stage for what happens inside it; resentment is the biggest enemy of desire. Ultimately, I believe that with the right tools, you can transition from surviving back to thriving, reclaiming a connection that feels deeply and uniquely yours.
