My Background and Approach
Courtney is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) who has worked in various outpatient mental health and private practice settings for the past 20 years, gaining experience working with couples and families in the home, school and community. Courtney completed her undergraduate education at the University of Pittsburgh in Greensburg where she majored in Psychology. She then completed the Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy Program at Seton Hill University. Her therapeutic approach is Solution Focused, focusing on solutions to create a stronger relationship. Courtney has conducted numerous workshops: Passionate Marriage, 5 Love Languages, Surviving Affairs, Difference between men and women, and the power of Forgiveness. Courtney’s strong knowledge and professional drive has helped couples with communication, increasing passion, handling conflict, surviving affairs, developing empathy and falling back in love.
