My Background and Approach
Does life sometimes feel hectic and overwhelming? On top of daily responsibilities, most of us have relationship challenges, traumatic events, health diagnoses, and other unique stressors that can make it challenging to be our best selves. My goal is to help you build coping skills and break negative patterns to live to your highest potential. Individuals struggling with trauma, relationships, confidence, life transitions, or work-life balance might be a great fit. Her modality interests include CBT, narrative therapy, mindfulness, person-centered therapy, EMDR, and Gestalt. However, she strongly believes in versatility and is open to exploring foreign concepts. Every client is different and will have different needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
In a previous role, Courtney conducted in-home counseling with clients diagnosed with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, and schizophrenia. Her time working closely with a variety of non-profits provided valuable insight into the challenges of domestic violence, homelessness, and drug addiction. She has also spent time as an intake coordinator for mental health services, so she understands the importance of having a therapist that matches your specific needs.
