About My Clients
I work with individual adults, age 18+. I specialize in working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community, individuals in polyamorous or ethical non-monogamous relationships, and the full spectrum of gender expression and identity. I am a kink-friendly provider.
My Background and Approach
I approach therapy from a feminist and social justice perspective with a deep reverence for each client's personal story. As a therapist, I consider not just your personal history, but the societal and cultural expectations placed upon you and the meaning you have derived from these experiences. My approach is strengths-based and client-centered with an emphasis on psychoeducation. My communication style tends to be straightforward, but I also believes that feedback must be delivered with gentleness and willingly received. I hope to help empower you to become the author of your own story and discover there is so much possibility and hope to be found in what is yet to be written.
