About My Clients
I work with couples, high-achievers, and teens across SF and the East Bay ready to look at their protective patterns with curiosity, not judgment. My clients include partners caught in "The Roommate Contract" and repetitive arguments, midlife adults exhausted by performing while carrying tension in the body, and teen girls navigating Bay Area pressure and digital noise. They are self-aware people ready to understand what once kept them safe, stop self-abandoning, and author their next chapter.
My Background and Approach
I’ve been studying relationships and navigating the paradox of being myself in proximity to another since the womb with my twin sister. As an awkward fifth-grader giving daily news reports into a giant VHS camera, I was obsessed with getting to the bottom of things. Later, two decades in PR taught me that people do what corporations do: we spin our narratives to protect what is vulnerable. We become the performer, the peacemaker, or the one who attacks or goes quiet to survive. These roles kept us safe, but over time the armor suffocates us and settles in the body as tension and exhaustion. I don't sit in the room as an aloof, sterile blank slate. I bring curiosity, journalistic rigor, direct, warm collaboration, and lived humanity to our work. Grounded in Level 3 Gottman Method, IFS, and somatic tracking, we notice patterns with curiosity, not judgment. I map hidden patterns out loud. We honor old protectors, stop self-abandonment, and hand you back the pen to author what’s next.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
At the center of the human experience lies a single, quiet truth: we want our lives and the stories we live to matter. Not just on paper, but in the quiet, hidden spaces of our actual days. Long before we write a story we're proud of, we learn how to survive. The protective roles we carry - the performer, the quiet peacemaker, the fixer - weren't mistakes; they kept us safe when we couldn't afford to be vulnerable. But when old scripts leave our minds, the body holds the effort as chronic tension and exhaustion. I believe we all deserve connection that feels safe, authentic, and light: In partnership: singing ridiculous, co-created dog songs in the kitchen, knowing you're the exact right kind of weird for each other. In friendship: leaving conversations feeling deeply known rather than drained. In yourself: a relationship with your mind and body rooted in curiosity, not self-judgment. You do not have to stay the character someone else wrote you to be.
