About My Clients
I work best with people and couples who: Want to strengthen their relationships, improve communication, and create deeper connection. Feel stuck in recurring patterns and want to better understand themselves and their relationships. Are navigating relationship challenges, identity development, anxiety, trauma, or life transitions. Are thoughtful, curious, and open to meaningful self-exploration.
My Background and Approach
My primary approach is psychodynamic and relational-cultural, meaning I help you understand the deeper patterns that shape how you relate to yourself and others. I believe your relationships, identity, culture, and life experiences all play an important role in understanding your emotional world and creating meaningful change. Together, we explore how past experiences, attachment patterns, emotions, and identities influence current challenges and opportunities for growth. I tailor therapy to your unique needs and integrate various approaches.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy is a space where understanding, growth, and meaningful change become possible. My work is grounded in the belief that our relationships, identities, and life experiences shape the ways we connect with ourselves and others. My path to becoming a psychologist was not a traditional one. Before entering the mental health field, I spent several years working in corporate roles, where I gained a deeper appreciation for the complexity of people’s experiences and the importance of feeling understood. My own experiences and relationships ultimately led me toward psychology and a career focused on helping people build healthier relationships, develop greater self-understanding, and navigate life’s challenges.
