I have an extensive trauma background, including PTSD and other trauma related disorders. I am EMDR Part 1 and 2 trained and utilize this modality when appropriate. I have worked with individuals who have a past associated with sexual trauma, abuse, neglect, and exposure to violence.

I specialize in many areas of addiction, including behavioral addictions such as sexual impulses. I work with both individuals and couples with sex-related issues. I have also worked with couples who have are in a non-monogamy relationship.

Anxiety has been increased drastically with the COVID-19 pandemic. Many individuals have experienced fear in relation to stability in life or even fear that they will get sick. This anxiety is exacerbated by quarantine and not having the social interaction that we are used to.

I have Part 1 and 2 EMDR trained and utilized this treatment orientation for individual who have experience trauma, depressive symptoms, anxiety symptoms, and somatic issues.

At my core, I am an existential therapist. I derive meaning into our sessions and help my clients develop a higher purpose in their life. At times, I have used existential modalities with creative expressions such as painting or using another artistic outlet.

I am a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor and have used modalities such as Motivational Interviewing in individual sessions. This modality focuses on enhancing motivation to stay sober while being direct and client centered.
