About My Clients
When you find yourself worrying about every aspect of your life, it can be difficult to manage. However, peace and balance are available to you. I have a passion for empowering women 18 to 40 years old find emotional well-being. She specializes in helping clients manage their anxiety, stress, depression, life changes, self-esteem and panic attacks. My approach can be described as strength based and collaborative as I utilize CBT and mindfulness techniques to change thought patterns.
My Background and Approach
I obtained my Bachelors in Psychology and Criminal Justice at Friends University and my Masters in Social Work at Washburn University. I have experience working with children, adults, adolescents and their families in various settings. In addition to therapy I have 5 years of valuable experience working in varies mental health settings such as foster care, early childhood, and education. I have training in CBT, DBT, TF CBT, and play therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone was created equal and deserve to treated with respect no matter their race, sexuality, or religion. I believe in equal rights and racial justice for minorities. I am a Christian and would enjoy bringing Christian aspects into therapy, if that is your desire.
