Nearly everyone has some degree of stress in their lives; However, for some, that stress can be debilitating. Anxiety impacts so many aspects of an individuals life - school, at home, in relationships, at work… the list goes on and on. Processing thoughts with a well-trained therapist eases the impact of anxiety on daily living. I utilized evidenced based treatment approaches when addressing anxiety concerns, specifically focused on processing thoughts and related feelings.

It seems that others’ successes, beauty, and achievements are all around us. It can feel natural to question our worth when we are surrounded by these things. I truly believe that all individuals are capable of reaching a place of confidence. I am passionate about empowering others to see their strengths and what they are bringing to the world.

The relationship between client and therapist is crucial for seeing positive outcomes in therapy. I use empathy regularly in sessions by understanding your perspective and the decisions you have made. I am not here to tell you what is wrong with you or blame you for your choices. I am fully present in sessions to remind you that despite any flaws you may have, you are still worthy of fulfillment.

I believe that our thoughts, behaviors, and actions all impact one another. I find it beneficial to break this down in therapy and implement new skills to improve overall quality of life. Some examples of this includes identifying and challenging unhelpful thinking patterns, exploring impact of behaviors on emotions, prioritizing enjoyable activities, learning problem solving skills, and practicing mindfulness.

I believe there's significant importance in understanding our personal values and living a life aligned with those values. I find that when people do not understand what's most important to them, they feel really unfulfilled - Even when they're doing really well for themselves. I also find it is important to recognize and accept the natural challenges that come along in life rather than constantly trying to avoid them or deny their reality.
