You are reading this because you are at a fork in the road. You can either repeat the same hurtful harmful patterns or find healing with me today. I get to know people without judgement so we can identify unhelpful patterns and previous traumas and also identify and add to your strengths. Life can be so much better than it has been, stuck in that negative loop.
My Background and Approach
I have worked people struggling with addiction, trauma, anxiety, and relational issues. I utilize a person-centered strengths-based model. So, clients join with me to identify issues, what we work on and often complete small challenges between sessions. I am a trauma informed practitioner, often times I educate people on trauma and its effects on the brain and our nervous system. Then we identify how it is playing a role in today's issues. Often times the body remembers when the brain does not.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people are doing the best they can with the hand they were dealt in life. Even the people that hurt us. This has brought me healing in my personal life also. I enjoy coffee, personal care and spending time with my sidekick, my dog Daisy. I believe we are all worthy of love and healing. I have yet to meet a person that was beyond help.
