About My Clients

If your emotions feel big, fast, or hard to control—and the usual coping advice hasn’t helped—you’re not alone. I work with adults who are tired of getting overwhelmed, shutting down, or repeating the same patterns. A lot of the people I see are dealing with BPD, trauma, anxiety, or eating concerns and want something that actually works in real life.

My Background and Approach

I’m a DBT-trained LMHC, and I’ve worked in crisis settings—so I’m used to sitting with people in the moments that feel like too much. In our work, we focus on what actually helps: learning how to ride out intense emotions, respond instead of react, and handle situations without things spiraling. I’m not a “just talk about your week” therapist. I’ll teach you skills, explain what’s going on in your brain and body, and help you figure out what keeps getting in your way. I also pull from IFS, ACT, and trauma-focused work when it fits. The goal isn’t to fix you—it’s to help you feel more in control and more steady in your own life.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I don’t think you’re “too much,” and I don’t think your emotions are the problem. Usually, it’s that no one ever showed you what to do with them. You don’t need to have this all figured out before you start. You just have to be willing to show up and try something different. Therapy can be real, honest, and sometimes even a little lighter than you expect—it doesn’t have to feel cold or rigid to be effective. And you don’t have to do this on your own.
