About My Clients
Everyone deserves a place where they can take care of themselves- to be their true self, without judgement, to explore, and to feel validated. Let's work together on creating a place where you can become the best version of yourself. Starting therapy or any new journey of our lives can be difficult, so I am here to support you during this therapeutic process. Whether it's anxiety, depression, trauma, family, relationships, identity, sexuality, or employment stressors- you are not alone.
My Background and Approach
I was born in Pittsburgh, PA and received my B.A. in Psychology at the California University of Pennsylvania in 2016. Following that, I earned my Master’s Degree in Social Work at the University of Georgia in 2019. On the journey to obtaining my clinical license in social work, I have been passionate about learning, training, and becoming certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). I enjoy providing empathic understanding for my clients, utilizing their strengths, and combining techniques from evidence-based practices and therapeutic models such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), and many more, to best match the person I am sitting with. Throughout my years of experience in social work I’ve worked in settings ranging from community-based mental health to medical facilities, crisis centers, to private practice.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a member of the LGBTQ and neurodivergent community, it is important to me to provide a safe and therapeutic space for others in this world to have a comfortable and affirmative place they can confide in, explore their experience, learn and navigate skills, accommodate their brains or bodies, and process their stressors.
