About My Clients
I see a wide range of individuals coming from various backgrounds, faiths, genders, and neurodiversity. We work together on identifying unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors and develop sustainable coping mechanisms. Common issues are anxiety, depression, self-harm, disordered eating, relationship issues, self-esteem/identity, and communication skills.
My Background and Approach
I have been a therapist in private practice for six years for which have had a wide range of experiences to hone my skillset to provide excellent quality of care. As an EMDR-trained therapist, I use a comprehensive approach to improving mental health and wellness, helping clients heal the body and mind connection. When we can identify our emotions as well as our physiological experience of those emotions, we can begin to deepen our understanding of self and begin to heal. In addition, I use an intuitive eating approach with all my clients. I have found most people benefit from taking a look at their relationship with food, eating, body, and movement when improving their mental health and wellness. I integrate wellness education, mindfulness, and practical habit-building skills in order to increase overall wellness. Clients gain so much from feeling empowered and developing a sense of self trust in these areas is crucial to healing and creating sustainable wellness.
