About My Clients
My clients are adults and adolescents who have spent years struggling with food, eating, and their bodies and are ready for something different. Some are in the depths of an eating disorder. Others are navigating disordered eating, chronic dieting, or body image distress that takes up enormous space. I also work with teens and their families — young people at a critical time in their development, and the parents who love them and aren't sure how to help.
My Background and Approach
I am a Certified Body Trust Provider with over 10 years of experience specializing in eating disorders. I have worked with clients across various levels of care and bring a trauma-informed, Health at Every Size (HAES) framework to everything I do. I draw from CBT-E, DBT, ACT, psychodynamic theory, and Family-Based Treatment (FBT) for adolescents, tailoring my approach to each person rather than applying a rigid protocol. I founded Body Liberation Collective to create a practice where specialized, values-aligned eating disorder care is accessible to those who need it most. I believe eating disorders develop for a reason. Understanding their function and what needs it has been meeting is at the heart of the work we do together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am deeply committed to social justice, body liberation and dismantling diet culture both in my clinical work and in my life. I believe that the way our culture treats bodies, particularly larger bodies, is a public health crisis that therapy alone cannot fix. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming, fat positive, and anti-diet — not just as clinical frameworks but as genuine personal values.
